How do I set up the Family Locator - iLocateMobile App?


Download the app from Google or Apple Stores, and register your account with us.

You can track your own phone under “My Location ".

To locate your child please follow the below steps

a) Add the phone number of your child to your account.

b) An Invitation code will be generated and it will be sent at your registered email address.
c) Ask your child to download our app Track Phone - ilocatemobile and give him/her Invitation code. Once the invitaiton code is entered, you as a parent can start locating device of your child. Please note consent is very important.




What is an Invitation code?


An invitation code is a code which is generated whenever user adds a phone number of other person to his/her account. The other person being tracked, has to download the Track Any Phone app on his/her phone and insert the invitation code on his/her phone. This unique code is one-time use. The Invitation code has a validity of 30 days and if it is not used within the stipulated time period the invitation code will expire. In case the Invitation code has expired the account holder has to generate new invitation code by deleting and adding the same phone number again. Invitation code could not be bought. It can be generated by all the users, free or premium. It’s not a promo code.




How to insert the Invitation code?


To insert the Invitation code please follow the below steps

a) Download the app Family Locator - iLocateMobile app on the phone which you want to track.
b) Select the option “I have an Invitation code".
c) Insert the code and your phone number and it is done.

Please make sure Location settings are turned ON the phone which you want to track.

Android Users:

You can close the app and still get the location of the other phone. It is not necessary for the app to run in the background.

iPhone and iPad Users:

The app needs to run in the background in order to get the phone location.




Can two users track the same phone number?


For Parents,Yes. Both can monitor child's phone number provided each of the users have setup their own account. In case if someone tries to add the same phone number for third account, it will not be allowed for security reason. Thus it will allow both the parents (mother and father) to track their child/children.




Does the app drain my phone’s battery?


No, it does not drain your battery. If GPS is switched ON all the time the location accuracy will be very good it may drain your battery to some extent. In order to optimize the battery, keep the location setting to mixed mode instead of only GPS mode which may cause accuracy to suffer to some extent.




How can I view the Invitation code for added mobiles to my account?


The Invitation code will be visible only for those child phone's who have not yet accepted your invitation for tracking.

To view the Invitation code please follow the below steps:-

a) Open the app on your phone.
b) Open the Menu.
c) Select Edit/Delete Added Mobile.
d) You can view the Invitation code for all the users who have not yet accepted your invitation for tracking.

Yes, Track Any Phone is free for lifetime. You can trace your own phone and add one more phone number for free. You can continue to track 2 phones for lifetime for free.




Can I locate my lost or stolen device if Track Any Phone app was not installed on the phone?


No. You will not be able to locate your lost or stolen phone with Track Any Phone unless the Track Any Phone app was installed on the phone prior to the device being lost or stolen. Also location services need to be enabled.

Can I use Track Any Phone app on my Microsoft/Windows phone?


No, at present. We will launch the Microsoft/Windows version of our app very soon.




Can I request any new features or changes in the Track Any Phone - ilocateMobile app?


Yes, you can suggest us any new features or changes that you wish to see in the next update. You can email us your suggestions at support@ilocatemoible.com. If you don’t tell us…it may never happen!





Locations Related

Is two way tracking possible in Track Any Phone app?


Track Any Phone is a one-way tracking app. You can track others; they cannot track you back. You can check your own location history in “My Location “. This feature is very useful in case your phone is lost or stolen. You can login through our website http://www.ilocatemobile.com/ and track your phone.




Can I track someone’s location without their knowledge?


No, it is not possible to track someone’s location using Track Any Phone without their knowledge. You need to take their approval in order to track them.




Why is location result not getting updated on the phone which I want to track?


Location result not getting updated on the phone which you want to track can happen due to one of the following reasons

a) The Location settings are turned OFF on the phone.
b) The Track Any Phone app is uninstalled on the phone
c) The phone does not have an Internet connection.




How can I improve the location accuracy?


In order to improve location accuracy please make sure that GPS is turned ON and the results will be much better with high accuracy. Turning GPS on for your phone does not improve the accuracy of the phone numbers added to your account they must turn this GPS ON their phone. If the GPS is turned off, then we get the location by Wi-Fi or Network service which may be not be very accurate.




Can I view Location History?


Yes, you can view 2 days Location History in case you are FREE user i.e. today’s and yesterday’s and 30 days’ Location History in case you are Premium user. Premium users can view 30 day’s location history for all the added phones in their account.

You can also view Location History for all the phones added to your account even on our website.

To view the location history by website please follow the below steps.

a) Log into your account at http://ilocatemobile.com/
b) Log in with the same username and password you used to set up your account.
c) Choose the phone whose History you want to view

You can only view location History from website and cannot add or delete phone number to your account





Security & Privacy Related

Will you share my location details with any one?


No, we don’t share any of our client details with anyone under any circumstances.




Why I cannot enjoy all the premium features on iPhone and iPad?


Yes, some of the features of Track Any Phone does not work while tracking an iPhone and iPad.

Location tracking by SMS/text message or Miss call will not work while tracking an iPhone and iPad as due to the limitations.

You can still enjoy all the premium features on iPhone and iPad in case the phone you want to track is an Android phone




Do you send any kind of notification either email or text message to the phone number being tracked?


No, we don’t send any notification to the phone number being tracked. Please note that this is not a Spy software. The tracking is done by consent of the other person and Track Any Phone app has to be downloaded on the phone which you want to track.





Account / Profile Related

How do I change my password?


To change the password please follow the below steps:

a) Open Track Any Phone app
b) Go to menu
c) Select Change Password

Now you can change the password as per your requirement.




I forgot my password. What to do now?


In order to resent the password please follow the below steps:

a) Open Track Any Phone app.
b) Click on the forgot password button/link
c) Enter your registered email address

The password will be emailed immediately at your registered email address.




How do I cancel my free account?


To cancel your account, please follow the below steps

a) Open Track Any Phone app
b) Open the Menu
c) Select “My Profile“
d) Select “Delete Account” to cancel the account.




Can I use same account after upgrading to a new phone?


Yes, you can use your same account even after upgrading your phone. Due to security reasons you need to get in touch with our support team at support@ilocatemobile.com and they will do the needful to activate your account for your new phone.

So now you can enjoy your old account on new phone without any troubles.




Can I use same account after changing my phone number?


No, you cannot use the same account with new phone number. You need to setup new account with Track Any Phone with your new phone number.




What are the features of Premium Version of Track Any Phone and how much does it cost?


The features of premium version of Track Any Phone are as follows:

Android Users:

a) No Ads
b) Add up to 10 phones in your account.
c) Enjoy history of 30 days for all added phones
d) Set more than 2 places in your account.
d) Pay per month or Yearly (pay only for 10 months)

iPhone and iPad Users:

a) Only Banner ads
b) Add up to 10 phones in your account.
c) Enjoy history of 30 days for all added phones
d) Pay per month or Yearly (pay only for 10 months)
The cost of the monthly pack is $6.99 per month and $69.99 yearly.

In case of yearly subscription, you only pay for months and get two months’ subscription free.




How do I add phone number to my account?


To add phone number to your account, please follow the below steps

a) Open Track Any Phone app
b) Click on Add phone to Locate button /link
c) Enter the name and number of the phone you want to add.
d) Click continue button /link




How do I delete phone number added to my account?


To delete phone number to your account, please follow the below steps

a) Open Track Any Phone app.
b) Open the Menu
c) Select Edit/Delete Added phone
d) Delete the phone which you want to remove from your account.




How do I purchase the Track Any Phone Premium subscription?


To purchase the Premium subscription please follow the below steps:

a) Open the Track Any Phone app on your phone
b) Open the Menu
c) Select Upgrade to Premium button/link
d) You can purchase the premium subscription for one month $3.99 or $39.99 for one year (pay only for 10 months)




How do I cancel my premium account?


You can cancel your premium account anytime by uninstalling the app from your phone.

Also be aware that cancelling your account app will not cancel your subscription. You must uninstall the app in order to not be billed next time.

If you cancel your account, without uninstalling the app you will still be billed.

Do you accept payment by PayPal?


No, we don’t accept payment by PayPal. All our payments are collected by google play store for android and Apple App Store for iOS.
